New website justdelete.me has cut through the red tape to allow you to vanish from the internet quickly and easily, providing direct links to account closure pages for social networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and more.
Companies notoriously try and make it difficult for users to close accounts, hiding delete pages beneath endless slabs of menus and warning you what a horrible mistake you’re making if you do decide to ‘go Snowden’.
Justdelete.me offers direct links to the relevant pages however, side-stepping any ‘deactivation’ half measures and ensuring your details are gone for good.
Websites are also ranked either green (deleting is a simple process), yellow (some extra steps involved) or red (cannot be fully deleted without contacting customer services).
Sadly vanishing without a trace is entirely impossible on websites coloured black however (cannot be deleted), which include Netflix, Starbucks and WordPress (which i’m currently writing on, gulp).
